Chapter 15 explores the ways in which to assemble a multi genre project using three or more genre compositions built around a single topic. It gives us multiple media options to choose from to assess our project, giving us a variety of ways to better explore our research topic. The ability to create our project through more than one genre provides the opportunity to join more conversations, essentially addressing multiple research questions, clarify our argument, and draw out more sources while strengthening our argument. I enjoy the use of multi genre projects over the use of research projects because it allows an individual to better express their message to the audience and reach out to more people outside of the classroom. If you are given the option to read a research paper about the history of human and canine relationships or watch a TED talk-style video presentation about it, it is more likely that you choose the presentation since it will engage you more. Next the steps to take for the multi genre project are given, also explaining that every project will differ due to the various ways of getting your message or argument across.
